Karen found a cyst in the curve of her neck. She was given 18 months to live. Looking for a glimmer of hope and a second opinion, she turned to the lung cancer team of the Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center’s Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Clinic.

Karen is now cancer free after having aggressive chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
